For the past two years, there has been an all out search for the awards Newark Air Force Base has been cited for in its 34 years history. AFMC was called on for help and the awards were finally located at the Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH Museum. Our request to loan the awards for display at the Newark Reunion was denied because of AF Instruction 84103 prohibiting such loans due to possible loss or damage. Due to exceptional circumstances, NAFB has no museum, we have been offered the opportunity to film. Look for the pictures to follow soon.
