A free E-Mail address is available to all alumni visitors if desired.  Currently there are nineteen home page links which upon URL selection will immediately take the visitor to the applicable page.  New material added to the Page is normally identified by the designator . 

The links titled (1) Base History and (2) NAFB Mission will remain for new visitors with little periodic change.  However, the three workload pages (3) IG Repair & Test,  (4) IG Engineering and (5) Metrology have and will continue to undergo periodic change from time to time as new material is added.  (6) Awards link page  will include photos and background of the twelve prestigious awards presented to the Center.  (7) JSDE Group and Affiliates periodically will add information regarding their activities.  JSDE is the corporate sponsor for the site.  (8) Our Home Town periodically will contain various photos and stories of Heath/Newark and the past.  (9) On Target page will include a host of memorabilia topics that appeared in the 30 years of On Target issues.   (10) People Locator is one of the most popular link pages.  We will continually look for improvements and ways to encourage the former alumni to add their information to this page for others to share.  The two link pages (11) Get Well and (12) Memorials are also very popular to our visitors.  Procedures are available to report sickness and deaths and we encourage others to use the link page for this purpose.  (13) Reunions link page has become very popular and is the source for finding arrangements being made for annual North and South Reunions as well as photos and results.  (14) Current Events link page will be updated frequently to announce various events such as a 40th Anniversary Cruise now being planned for the year 2002.  Keep tuned frequently as more information develops.  (15) People.  This link is set aside for a variety of photos and topics about  people  and  well  known  faces of Military, Civilian and Contractor alike.  16) Newsletter link page currently contains the history of the Base Newspaper and will include randomly selected "on Target" published articles.   (17) Links page contains the URLs to reach all associated Web Sites with whom a link to their Web Site is available  (e.g.  Heath, JSDE, etc.).  (18) Shopping.  Our shopping links page has a variety of novelty items and more recently Video Cassettes available for purchase.   All proceeds are deposited and used to cover organization operating expenses. (19) Search the Website. Search of the pages of the website but does not search the People Locator or Get Well pages.

                                                 To Be Noted

         Our programming approach is to incrementally add new items ON A MONTHLY BASIS to the various topics as such additional material becomes available.  Accordingly, almost a continuous update to the Table of Content Link Pages is necessary which requires visitors to log on frequently to view and keep abreast of the new information.

         We've come to realize that the Centers Alumni interests of the past is divided into two groups of former employees.  Those that served in the 60s & 70s and those younger individuals who served in the 80s & 90s.  The  Web Site must try to serve the interests of both and this will continue to be our objective.
